Dizzy
Ok confession! I woke up with a sinus infection and decided to use antibiotics I had from a few other times that I saved up. I have enough for ten days. Do you ever do that? I know its bad but I had infections so frequently in the past I know what I am dealing with, dizzy, nausea, sinus drainage, & severe headache. I just went to the Doctor Monday and don’t want to go again.
Yes i am really being dumb and stubborn but it means my husband has to take off work again this week and he has twice already. Aaron was brought home sick yesterday from school. I hate that I cannot drive myself or the kids.
So I resorted to taking old pills and home remedies. Sigh*

Hope you feel better soon!
I think what you did was smart. Your knew what was wrong and you had the meds for it. Good for you……PS Please be kinder to yourself — that was some pretty high level scolding you were doing of yourself.
Hope you get better soon.
@vexations - thank you. It’s all the strict training I grew up with screaming in the back of my head. But you are right I should not be so mean to myself and try and be nicer ..see I did it again! Ha ha
@AOK4WAY - thank you!
@angys_coco - thank you!
hot showers to keep the germs away and drink plenty of fluids…I have a cold too this crazy weather really sucks
I don’t know if a humidifier helps but some folks hate dry sinuses. Hot teas sort of loosen the mucous but I so know the good sinus drying medicine has ephedrine or some similar pseudo ephedrine. (They limit folks in the amount you can buy due to the meth users.)
Once I had a ear infection and that made me dizzy. I think the doctor did prescribe an antibiotic and after a day I was good enough to leave the emergency room.
@PPhilip - the antibiotic is already working and my sinus is draining pretty fierce. Still dizzy but will be much better tomorrow no doubt. I have that sinus meds and it didn’t work why I think it was infection. Thanks .@SisterMae - I blame crazy weather too. Hot then cold my body doesn’t adjust well. Thank you
Hope you are 100% soon. I use afrin when I get stuffed up and it is a nasal spray that works for me. I have not had the flu or an infection in a long time and am grateful.
My mom does that if she has medicine left over. I hope you feel better soon.
@Grannys_Place - I used those sprays and I get bloody noses from them. LOL I am hopeless. I am so glad you have been staying well! Thank you for the wishes.
@Shining_Garnet - Thanks and Good to know.
