Not sure
I am not sure that my plans are solid for anywhere else but I plan to stay on xanga as long as possible. I have had blogs elsewhere but always came back to my first love, Xanga.
The whole community has been great here and I enjoyed reading up on all of you subscriptions even if I didn’t always comment. Sad to see a good thing go but I understand when I had so much trouble in recent history.I am on Facebook if anyone wants to be my friend there. Judith Martin is my real name and I post there the most out of all other sites. I post a lot there since most of my family is on facebook. That is one of the only ways I can keep in contact with my brothers. It will be opening a door more into my private life but I think you all have seen my divulging on here enough to get that pass ticket I believe. I act like I am rockstar or something, LOL NOT!
I joined wordpress a few years ago and am going to starting over again there since blogging is not a facebook thing. It is going to take me awhile to learn all the new stuff but I think it will be a positive move for me. Plus I can’t complain about my Mother-in-law on facebook at all LOL! All the inlaws aka outlaws are there too.
I don’t want to bring my archive anywhere else. I think it will be a fresh new start like being on a new planet LOL. IF you do join over there I want to still be friends with you all, I am neegee on wordpress.
My Sister-in-law is on twitter and has bashed me a couple times there so I refuse to keep using that site. Yeah I am that sensitive but she is a matriarch of that family. I hate abuses and rather avoid her in real life too. Why WordPress is going to be great.
I also have an Instagram account. judimartin43 and I tried in the past not to use my full name here but it is so easy to get info anymore I can’t keep protected forever. I will have to try other ways. Anyway Judith Martin is a common name it is my maiden name no one else in the world has.
OH and I was reading on WordPress that Google reader is shutting down too. HMMM. Coincidence?? So maybe WordPress is going to become the new xanga? I hate that they keep trying to integrate my google plus with blogger.
Sorry to sound like I am bailing out but come to think of it, the interface here sucks and I don’t see how they will change it without changing everything I loved about it and we know that is going to cost mucho bucks, more than they have predicted to stay compatible and comparable with other sites. It is going to be a paid for website with advertisements only after raising a ton of money. Why have they not done that sooner to give people more time To adjust with small updates? Argh!
I know good things cost money but so many of my friends are leaving bc they cannot afford it.
Update: I am now on Blogger as Ikwa. Seems I found a few boat jumping xangians there too. yay!
