words of hope from an unlikely sorce

This comedian said it best!
I have been a fan of Patton Oswalt since King of Queens. I just didn't know how articulate he could be. He gave me something to think about in my depressed state. I was so upset today and couldn't think clearly because the Boston attacks, Attack on humanity of any kind of get to me. Anyplace, anywhere in the world, where there is human tragedy, I get this helpless feeling and wonder why? Why are people so evil? Why are people so callus to the life of others. It makes me really sad. I wonder about it so deeply it hurts to think.
I am really sick of the hateful things I read. I think its time for some to grow up by stop reacting with hateful words towards anyone. No one deserves this NO one. There is not one good reason to say it. So Shut UP!
I was so glad to read this I had to share. He is right. We good folk out number the bad. And I plan to keep being a Good person regardless how anyone tries to affect my thinking. We need to stop pointing fingers of blame and hate and try and do something positive for others. Work toward the greater good with hopeful thoughts, prayers, and hands.

Osiyo Usdi Ulv,
When 9/11 happened I was placing an order online with Computer Geeks and at the same time I had the TV news on, so I watched it happen live, not as a repeat broadcast. My only thought at that time was “We are at war!” With whom I could not guess, but an attack of that kind could be only an act of war. What happened in Boston was an attack of terror; by whom and for what reason I don’t know! What I do know about the Boston marathon is that it is a worldwide event. And news media come from all over the world to report on it. So who ever did this did it for worldwide attention, so in the end he, she, or they will be brought to justice. For in the world we live in the good over balance evil! People will continue to live their lives knowing evil will never win!
May The Great Spirit’s Blessings Always Be with You!

I agree. Great post.
Wise words. When we had what call the 7/7 bombings in London on the underground and a bus, the sight that I keep in mind is of the staff of a hospital close to where the bus exploded running out into the street with trolleys and equipment ready to help, no thought of danger to themselves.
@holeinyoursoul - :) Yes Good people are everywhere. Thanks for the comment.
You cannot pay people enough money to endanger themselves unless they have a heart for others. Thanks to police and firepeople there will be a response towards dangerous situations.
Self preservation can be over ridden by those who love humanity and serve without qualifications and justifications. Those people who serve in the military are also sometimes in that category.
How many plumbers and doctors do work without pay? There is a lot of them out there. Unfortunately there is also others in the other category of doing work only for the money. Some charity work is not tax deductible or noticed by anyone.
